2021 Modern Art is a second internet gallery run by London-based Red Raven Arts. It stocks an eclectic range of modernist and contemporary global art from the 20th and 21st centuries. Prices of original works range from £150 to £5,000. All are available to view by appointment.
2021 caters to more diverse tastes than the main Red Raven Arts site. Whilst www.redravenarts.com focuses ever more tightly on abstract and expressionist works from the period 1955-1980, 2021 will have greater freedom to show works that appeal to us whatever their genre.
We have paintings by around 80 artists from Africa, through Europe to South East Asia including Paul Binnie, Cesar Buenaventura, Jeffrey Dennis, Hilda Goldwag, Reginald Gray, Sam Haile, Eugen Hersch, Pierre Jacquemon, Robert Marchessault, Kent Onah, Lincoln Seligman, Ed Smith, Sam Songo, F.B. Yalavatti and Simon Yew.
NEWS Latest Update : 31 December 2011 JANUARY FOCUS: SOUTH EAST ASIAN WORKS
This month we are showcasing further works in our collection from South East Asia. Many more can be seen on the website and for those seriously interested we have others off-line that can be viewed in person. This month we have added three Balinese pieces, by Nyomen Jati and Ketut Pasek. Semi-traditional but of the highest quality, these represent the island's art well. Other highlights of those on the front page are probably the Gabriel Custodio, an influential Filippino artist of the 'Conservative School', and Malaysia's Yon Mun Sen

Latest additions & news: In addition to the Balinese paintings shown above, we have recently added a beautiful but tiny Yalavatti to our collection. It shows cattle and shepherds fording a river.
